GELATO (ITALIAN FOR ICE CREAM) IS DENSER AND SMOOTHER THAN REGULAR ICE CREAM. A CREAMY TO OFF-WHITE, FREE-FLOWING POWDER.
MADE WITH MILK, CREAM, VARIOUS SUGARS AND INGREDIENTS SUCH AS FRESH FRUIT AND NUT PUREES. TYPICALLY OFFERS FEWER CALORIES, LESS SUGAR AND A LOWER FAT CONTENT PER SERVING THAN ICE CREAM, DUE TO THE HIGHER PROPORTION OF MILK VERSUS CREAM. GELATO IS ALSO CHURNED MORE SLOWLY THAN ICE CREAM, WHICH INCORPORATES LESS AIR.
FLAVOURS: BANANA, CHOCOLATE, COFFEE, COOKIES AND CREAM, HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE, MANGO, PEACH, PINEAPPLE, STRAWBERRY, VANILLA.
RECOMMENDED MIXTURE: 1.5 KG GELATO POWDER WITH 1.7 KG GOOD QUALITY WATER (ROOM TEMPERATURE). MIX WITH A HAND BLENDER UNTIL POWDER HAS TOTALLY DISSOLVED. FREEZE THROUGH ICE CREAM MACHINE.
